Auto Insurance
Underwritten by Reliance National de Mexico, the basic liability policy offers
$150,000 U.S. combined single limit bodily injury and property damage
liability, medical payments in the amount of $5,000 U.S. per person and up to
$25,000.00 U.S. per accident, and finally, legal defense coverage with a sum
insured equal to 21,000 days of minimum salary of Mexico City (this is $74,611
U.S. currency if the actual salary per day is $30.20 pesos and the U.S. Dollar
is equal to $8.50 pesos). The cost for the basic liability policy for
Northwestern Mexico (Baja, Sonora, Sinaloa, Chihuahua, Durango, Coahuila,
Nuevo Leon and Tamaulipas) is $78.00 U.S. per year. The cost for the basic
liability policy for the entire Republic of Mexico is $133.00 U.S. per year.
Full coverage which adds Fire & Total Theft, Collision, Upset, and Glass
Breakage (subject to a deductible) to the basic liability policy is available
for equally affordable premiums.

Boat Insurance
Coverage applies to land transportation (for vessels under 28' with values
less than $40,000.00) for the entire Republic of Mexico, including inland
lakes and territorial waters.
Pacific coastal navigation includes the entire Mexican pacific coast and is an
applicable navigational area for all insured water craft.
Policies are written on an "all risk" "valued" form.
Policies are available for trailed and non-trailed craft.
This policy includes coverage south of La Paz, BCS Mexico from June 1st
through November 1st (hurricane season).
Aircraft Insurance
Basic third party liability coverage comes with a $250,000 U.S. combined
single limit for bodily and/or property damage liability.
Included in the basic policy are Medical payments with a limit of $2,000.00
U.S. per person and $10,000.00 U.S. per accident.
Also included is an amount of $500 U.S. for lawyers fees, $50 U.S. for fines
and $2,000 U.S. for bonds required so that the insured is free to continue his
trip or leave the country.
The total annual premium for this multiple entry coverage is $109.00 U.S.
Medical Evacuation Insurance
Medical Evacuation coverage is underwritten by Reliance National de Mexico
Insurance Company. This coverage is afforded in case of a medical emergency
where it is necessary for the main named insured to be transported to an
appropriate medical facility for treatment while in Mexico.
The annual premium is $53.00 and provides Air ambulance coverage for the Insured.
